In 2017 I challenged myself for some time to sculpt a human head with emotions and expressions in a short time. From nothing to everything in one day, for four to five hours.
In two hours I made a head of coarse black baking clay without getting too hung up on finishing or detail. In the time that was left I lightly finished them, hollowed them out and prepared them
for the kiln firing at 1120 degrees.
I worked on it with great pleasure and that is why this is something I will do regularly. Creating images with sometimes ugly ears or
strange noses, but with a special expression.
They may exist in all their imperfection as far as I am concerned.
